Fundamental
Learning Pillars
Our program emphasizes a balance between academic, social-emotional, and lifelong learning–we consider these aspects of development equally important within the educational experience.
Core Academics
Academics are presented using a variety of teaching materials and styles that focus on each learner's strengths. As a result, students experience success on a daily basis; which is vital in the development of self-esteem.
Social & Emotional Support
Social-emotional learning at Quintilian is integrated throughout each day and informs our school-wide expectations and the language that we use when interacting with one another. Quintilian School supports students in understanding the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and actions. Students learn ways to care for their mental health and to be resilient in the face of challenges. We work together to recognize the signs and symptoms of stress, develop coping strategies including self advocacy.
Life-Long Skills
People have a natural drive to explore, learn and grow. We encourage students to embrace the ideas and goals that inspire them. Learning is promoted as an organic and ongoing process that encompasses both academic and life learning.
